Qt 6.10 Beta 1 released today as the next stepping stone for this open-source, cross-platform toolkit. Qt 6.10 isn't bringing any new modules but is deprecating the Qt Charts and Qt Data Visualization code.

Besides deprecating QtCharts and QtDataVisualization modules, Qt 6.10 is bringing various updates to its Qt core module, the Qt Graphs module continues to be enhanced with its 2D graphs as a supported alternative to Qt Charts, the Qt GUI module can now detect if the system has enabled any "increased contrast" mode, and there is now a native PipeWire audio back-end for Qt Multimedia. Qt Multimedia also adds audio pitch compensation for its FFmpeg-based QMediaPlayer. Qt SVG meanwhile added support for CSS animations for some selected properties.

More details on the changes coming with Qt 6.10 can be found via the release notes. Downloads and more details on the Qt 6.10 Beta 1 release via the Qt.org blog.

Next up are two more beta releases for Qt 6.10 in July and August, a release candidate in early September, and shipping Qt 6.10.0 before the end of September.
