Released last week was the Servo 0.3 browser engine release along with their latest Servoshell demo browser. Today the project has published their monthly development recap to highlight all of the interesting changes made. Here's a look at what they accomplished over the past month while doing so on less than $8k in monthly donations.

Some of the improvements incorporated into Servo 0.3 and other changes made over the last month include:

- Support for many CSS font features.

- Several new DOM APIs added.

- Updating the SpiderMonkey JavaScript engine to fix a number of memory safety bugs.

- Continued work on accessibility support.

- Various enhancements to the Servo Embedding API.

- Improving the default appearance of table, form, ordered lists, unordered lists, and various other HTML elements.

- Improving JavaScript error messages in multiple parts of the DOM.

- Improving conformance of HTML form submission handling.

- Implementing more WebGPU features.

- Adding the new "about:memory" tool for finding untracked memory allocations.

- Servo now requires fewer OS threads per CPU.

- Various other performance and stability optimizations.

Meanwhile their donations last month came in at $7,659 USD. Roughly where they have typically been in the $7~8k range while short of their goal of $10k monthly for the project. The funds are used for CI and benchmark servers, Outreachy interns, funding maintainer work, and related costs.
