Wine 10.4 is out tonight as the newest bi-weekly development release of this open-source software for running Windows games and applications on Linux, macOS, and other platforms.

Wine 10.4 continues the recent work of Direct3D video acceleration APIs implemented over Vulkan Video. There is further Vulkan Video decode support now wired up within WineD3D. Wine 10.4 also continues work on another recent effort in the past few months of the initial Bluetooth driver for Wine that debuted in Wine 10.0.

Wine 10.4 also brings accessibility support within the SysLink control, improved PDB support within the DbgHelp debug helper, and 28 known bug fixes. The bug fixes range from fixing an iTunes UI issue to problems with Myst, Need for Speed: Shift, Battle.net, Firefox, and a variety of other games/app troubles.
