2019 Linux Performance: Ubuntu Up ~1%, Fedora Up ~2%, Clear Linux Up ~7%
In some cases like the NAS Parallel Benchmarks, the EOY2019 Linux distributions all performed better thanks to all three distributions switching over to the GCC 9 stable compiler. In the case of Fedora, it's still slower than other Linux distributions as shown in many other articles as well.
In some cases Ubuntu and Fedora found better performance over 2019 only to draw closer to the stable Clear Linux results, which in some cases is due to Clear Linux shipping patches from various upstream Intel engineers prior to that work being accepted upstream / in a stable release.
