The performance of RHEL 10 beta and AlmaLinux 10 beta is right inline with each other on this same AMD EPYC server as would be expected.
Upgrading from RHEL/AlmaLinux 9 to RHEL/AlmaLinux 10 can mean some very nice performance improvements from the software upgrades, which is especially clear on newer servers and workstations.
The jump ahead to the newer Linux kernel and GCC 14 compiler by default can deliver some very meaningful gains on the 5th Gen AMD EPYC server.
