For many of the Intel oneDNN neural network benchmarks, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D boasted significantly better performance than the Ryzen 7 5800X.
Similar to my past Milan-X testing, the ASKAP HPC benchmark benefited hugely from AMD 3D V-Cache.
Various other HPC workloads on the Ryzen 7 5800X3D were showing the advantages of 3D V-Cache even when it means slightly lower clock speeds.
