Workloads like Python scripts with PyPerformance, GNU Octave as a MATLAB alternative, Z3, and Zstd compression all benefited nicely from switching the AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D over to the amd_x3d_mode "cache" setting. Nice gains made for this 12-core desktop processor.

👁 Renaissance benchmark with settings of Test: In-Memory Database Shootout. cache was the fastest.

👁 Renaissance benchmark with settings of Test: Random Forest. cache was the fastest.

👁 DaCapo Benchmark benchmark with settings of Java Test: Eclipse. cache was the fastest.

Java OpenJDK and a variety of technical computing workloads also enjoyed better performance when running in the amd_x3d_mode cache configuration.
