With the SVT-AV1 video encoder too there was a greater performance advantage of the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 running on Linux compared to Microsoft Windows.
I have been thoroughly enjoying the leading performance of the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 under a variety of workloads on Linux over the past month. Now at least are some hard numbers for confirming greater uplift on Linux relative to Windows 11 and compared to the AMD Ryzen 9 950X3D.
Especially for the demanding multi-threaded workloads is where there was a clear difference in relative performance from Windows 11 to Ubuntu 26.04 LTS with the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2.
