The Athlon 3000G could run the SuperTuxKart racing game at around 30 FPS with low quality settings at 1080p.... The Ryzen 3 APU would be much better, however, for any lightweight gaming system.
Some OpenGL games like Xonotic and Tesseract can be playable at 1080p with the Athlon 3000G. This $50 CPU's Vega 3 graphics did tend to outperform Intel's Skylake-era HD/UHD Graphics.
