It's just not sixteen cores at 65 Watt making this exciting but being Zen 5 cores is all the more notable given its full 512-bit data path AVX-512. So for those considering CPU-based AI inferencing at the edge and concerned about low-power usage especially for rugged systems that may be passively cooled, the EPYC 4545P is an incredibly power efficient fit here. The EPYC 4545P was ahead of the EPYC 4004 series 16-core parts thanks to the enhanced AVX-512 of Zen 5 even with the much lower TDP compared to the 4564P and 4584PX processors.

The EPYC 4545P with its 16 x Zen 5 cores at a lower TDP than alternatives makes this an incredible option for CPU-based AI inferencing and other compute intensive edge systems. The performance-per-Watt of the EPYC 4545P was simply incredible while delivering the same competitive value of the EPYC 4005 series.

The performance of the EPYC 4545P is also much greater than the EPYC 4464P as the highest tier EPYC 4004 series processor that had a 65 Watt default TDP.
