With up to 16 cores / 32 threads, AVX-512 with 512-bit data path, DDR5-5600 memory support, and other advantages, the EPYC 4005 series is the very easy answer compared to the Xeon 6300 series for those that may be looking for an affordable server build for HPC or scientific computing workloads. The top-end Xeon 6369P is not even remotely competitive in these workloads for performance or power efficiency compared to the EPYC 4005 series.
