Across other databases tested from ClickHouse to RocksDB and TigerBeetle, the AMD EPYC 8635P was delivering very meaningful performance gains from the top-end EPYC Siena to Sorano processors.

The Valkey in-memory store also reflected a great upgrade story even without going for faster DDR5-6400 memory.
Not to sound like a broken record, but the top-end Sorano CPU also delivered very significant wins over the prior-generation top-end Siena processor.
