The very nice 4th Gen AMD EPYC to 5th Gen AMD EPYC at the same 96-core count continued across all of the HPC workloads tested.

The Granite Rapids wins were limited to select areas of HPC and especially for those workloads that are very memory bandwidth limited where the MRDIMM-8800 memory could help out a lot.

With the BRL-CAD solid modeling software there was more than 1.5x the performance going from the prior gen EPYC 9654 flagship to the EPYC 9655 96-core Turin processor.

There was significant strides in the OpenFOAM CFD performance going from EPYC Genoa to EPYC TUrin for this computational fluid dynamics software package.

Huge advancements in the Altair OpenRadioss performance with the EPYC 9654 to EPYC 9655 for just a small increase to the CPU power use.
