👁 clpeak benchmark with settings of OpenCL Test: Double-Precision Compute. RTX 5090 was the fastest.
For clpeak's double precision compute benchmark the Radeon RX 9070 series came out ahead of the RTX 5070 competition but was in turn behind the Radeon RX 7900 GRE performance.
The OpenCL integer compute performance was also indicating problems for the Radeon RX 9070 with very subpar performance.
👁 FinanceBench benchmark with settings of Benchmark: Black-Scholes OpenCL. RTX 5090 was the fastest.
The Radeon RX 9070 results for the FinanceBench OpenCL workload also indicated some driver performance problems.
Hopefully a ROCm update will be out soon with more fixes/optimizations for RDNA4 GPUs.
