When taking the geometric mean of all 335 CPU/system benchmarks, the Ryzen 5 7600X came out to being 35% faster than the prior generation Ryzen 5 5600X. The Ryzen 5 7600X overall with this mix of single and multi-threaded workloads matched the Ryzen 9 5950X while being faster than both the Core i9 11900K Rocket Lake and Core i5 12600K Alder Lake processors.

Across the span of all 335 benchmarks, the Ryzen 5 7600X had an average power consumption of 77 Watts and a peak recorded power consumption of 126 Watts. In comparison the Ryzen 5 5600X had a 61 Watt average and an 80 Watt peak.

Lastly for today's tests are just the gaming results separate from all the CPU/system benchmarks.

During the gaming tests, the Ryzen 5 7600X had an average power consumption of 60 Watts with a peak of 100 Watts, compared to the Ryzen 5 5600X at a 46 Watt average and a peak of 78 Watts.

For just the gaming benchmarks the Ryzen 5 7600X amounted to delivering around a 16% generational uplift over the Ryzen 5 5600X and a healthy lead over the Intel Alder Lake CPUs. All of those Linux gaming benchmarks can be found via this result page.
