First up is a look at these processors paired with the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT on the latest open-source Linux drivers across a range of gaming tests under Ubuntu.
With many Linux games and Steam Play titles not leveraging too many threads, the Ryzen 5 7600X was running with the higher-end Ryzen 7000 series CPUs with ease.
The AMD Zen 4 processors were performing very well for Linux gaming with significant generational uplift and also competing well against Intel Alder Lake CPUs ahead of the 13th Gen Raptor Lake processors launching in two weeks.
