Maximizing The Performance & Power Efficiency Of AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 With Platform Profiles
With the proprietary V-RAY renderer, the performance profile allowed slightly better performance for the HP ZBook Ultra G1a than at its defaults. When operating in the low-power mode, the Ryzen AI MAX+ PRO 395 power efficiency was able to match the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 found within the Framework Laptop 13.
The default/balanced profile is good with the HP ZBook Ultra G1a for delivering great performance while those really wanting to push the laptop a bit harder can go for the performance profile. Similarly, those wanting to extend their battery life can opt for the low-power mode for still very capable performance.
I'm still in awe at the performance delivered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 395.
