AmpereOne Performance Scaling From 32 To 192 Cores, Core-For-Core Benchmarks Against Ampere Altra Max

Running the AmpereOne at the same core count as the Ampere Altra Max helped to put the AmpereOne core architectural advantages into perspective while also taking into account the switch to DDR5 memory and that the AmpereOne processor did have a 200MHz clock advantage.

Across the entire span of benchmarks conducted for this 128-core comparison, the AmpereOne A192-32X at 32 cores had a 218 Watt average compared to 166 Watts with the Ampere Altra Max M128-30.

That 31% higher average power use though is worthwhile when seeing a 53% improvement overall in performance across the benchmarks carried out. These results are great though again makes me wish AmpereOne would offer below the 96 core count options for those wanting to build a HEDT/workstation type AArch64 modern server rather than having to rely on Ampere Altra Max.
