With using the default NVIDIA Linux driver package on each operating system, the NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Max-Q performance was for the most part unchanged. Ubuntu 24.04 LTS has only the NVIDIA R590 driver available as of testing compared to the other newer Linux distributions all having the NVIDIA R595 driver available, which may explain in part why Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS was slightly slower.
CachyOS may have a more competitive edge in the graphics/GPU workloads when using Intel or Radeon graphics with their fully open-source, upstream driver stacks.
GravityMark was an exception in seeing better performance on CachyOS with the NVIDIA driver stack.
