Firefox 120 To Firefox 141 Web Browser Benchmarks
The Kraken JavaScript benchmark showed an improvement in Firefox 136 that has been maintained since that point. The RAM usage is also looking good still for the upcoming Firefox 141 release.
The SilverBench multi-core stress test showed a big improvement in Firefox 134 and remained that way through Firefox 138 until regressing partially in Firefox 139 and maintaining that same level of performance through Firefox 141 Beta.
Since Firefox 139 has also been much higher RAM usage when running SilverBench.
For those curious about a high level metric from Firefox 120 to Firefox 141 Beta, here is the geometric mean of all the raw browser performance benchmark results (not including the RAM metrics). On average Firefox 141 Beta was around 12% faster than the Firefox 120 release from November 2023.
