For OpenJDK Java workloads across the tested Linux distributions, CachyOS tended to be the front-runner and upstream Arch Linux was performing well in some of these Java benchmarks. The rolling-release openSUSE Tumbleweed was also a strong performer on this Raptor Lake laptop.
When looking at the Zstd performance for the binaries shipped by each Linux distribution, CachyOS again was in the lead. Intel's Clear Linux performed well in some Zstd sub-tests but not all.
