Debian, CachyOS, and Clear Linux did great for the Java (OpenJDK) benchmarks.
With the proprietary NeatBench for NeatVideo performance, Debian 13 Testing performed the best out-of-the-box on this Framework Laptop 13 albeit with higher power use.
With clean installs of the tested Linux distributions, Debian 13 was consuming more power out-of-the-box for this Strix Point SoC compared to the other tested Linux distributions.
Debian Testing finished the Linux performance race with wins across other workloads from Stockfish to NAMD but was also consuming the most power.
