DragonFlyBSD 5.4 & FreeBSD 12.0 Performance Benchmarks, Comparison Against Linux

Running the OpenMP Rodinia solver for computational fluid dynamics, FreeBSD 12.0 and DragonFlyBSD 5.4 were competing and ahead of DragonFlyBSD 5.2.2, but not fast enough with the Linux distributions. Ubuntu 18.04 and Clear Linux were competing neck-and-neck for first place while the mature CentOS/EL 7 was slower.
The Golang performance remains much faster on Linux than the BSDs.
