With this testing across a variety of workloads, the Axion C4A instances were exceeding my expectations for being Google's first in-house data center processor.
The Intel Xeon Scalable C4 instance did have a win once in a while like with John The Ripper where the x86_64 tuning pays off, but by and large most open-source software these days can run rather well on AArch64.
Very nice Axion performance in common CPU benchmarks like Coremark and 7-Zip.
