With the x265 video encoder, the N4D instance had a small advantage over Axion followed by the Xeon-based N4 being further behind.

For 7-Zip compression the Axion-based N4A returned to the top spot.

For those wondering about code compilation speed and not too concerned about the targeted ISA for CI/CD or build farm type purposes, the N4A with its 16 physical cores came out slightly ahead of the AMD EPYC N4D while the Intel Xeon N4 was well behind those two in build speed.

For OpenSSL performance the AMD EPYC VM picked up another win for ChaCha20 while the Intel Xeon Emerald Rapids with its QAT support was the fastest for AES benchmarks.
