With SHOC's FFT single precision benchmark there was a small bump in performance for Panther Lake over Lunar Lake, which was already faster than the Radeon 890M graphics on the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 for this benchmark. Panther Lake also had a nice boost to performance-per-Watt for the FFT SP benchmark.

The Core Ultra X7 358H with Arc B390 graphics was performing very well in these GPU compute benchmarks compared to prior generation Intel graphics and the AMD Radeon 890M competition on ROCm.

The S3D numerical simulation code with SHOC saw an extremely large boost to the performance compared to prior Intel graphics and the AMD RDNA 3.5 graphics competition.

The big S3D increase is likely driven in large part by the increased memory bandwidth for the Xe3 graphics with Panther Lake, as noted by the clpeak benchmark.

The clpeak benchmark showed nice single precision compute gains for the Xe3 Panther Lake graphics compared to the prior Intel graphics and the AMD Strix Point laptop.
