Intel Arc Pro B50 Linux Performance Benchmarks
For this launch day Linux testing of the Intel Arc Pro B50, the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X + ASRock X870E Taichi + 32GB DDR5 memory system was used while running Ubuntu 25.04. The latest open-source upstream drivers were used for the Intel Arc and AMD Radeon testing of the Linux 6.17 Git kernel and Mesa 25.3-devel graphics drivers. On the NVIDIA side was its newest 580.76.05 driver release while using the Linux 6.16 stable kernel since the NVIDIA R580 release isn't yet compatible with the current Linux 6.17 Git state.

The graphics cards tested for this comparison included a mix of available Intel Arc (Pro) graphics cards and various NVIDIA RTX Ada Generation and AMD Radeon PRO graphics cards I had availalbe for testing. The cards included:
- Intel Arc A380
- Intel Arc A580
- Intel Arc A750
- Intel Arc A770
- Intel Arc B570
- Intel Arc B580
- Intel Arc Pro B50
- NVIDIA RTX A1000
- NVIDIA RTX A2000
- NVIDIA RTX A4000
- AMD Radeon PRO W7500
- AMD Radeon PRO W7600
- AMD Radeon PRO W7700
Unfortunately I was never seeded an Intel Arc Pro A50 review sample which is why there is no generational comparison for today's article. Similarly, for other cards the selection used was based on the relevant hardware I had available.
Thanks to Intel for supplying the Arc Pro B50 review sample for launch day Linux testing on Phoronix.
