Intel Arc Pro B50 Linux Performance Benchmarks

First up was SPECViewPerf 2020 for some Linux workstation graphics benchmarks. SPEC did release SPECviewperf 15 recently but so far that is Windows-only without Linux support and thus why the SPECViewPerf 2020 edition continues to be used. With the CATIA-06 viewset, the Arc Pro B50 was just behind the RTX A1000 performance but ahead of the NVIDIA Ada Gen cards when factoring the performance-per-dollar.

With some viewsets like CREO-03 show additional room for performance optimizations on the Intel Iris Gallium3D driver side.

With the ENERGY-03 viewset the Arc Pro B50 was right behind the RTX A1000 for raw performance on Linux but ahead when considering the performance per dollar with current pricing.

While Project Battlematrix is really driving on AI performance, hopefully in time we see more OpenGL performance optimizations to the Iris Gallium3D driver too.

With SNX-04, the Arc Pro B0 comes out ahead of the RTX A1000 and right behind the Radeon PRO W7500. The Arc Pro B50 leads in value here and does well on performance-per-Watt too. Unfortunately the NVIDIA RTX A1000 used for testing lacked GPU power consumption reporting sensor functionality and thus wasn't able to compare its power efficiency in these tests.

In SolidWorks-07, the Arc Pro B50 also came out in front of the NVIDIA RTX A1000 in these Linux benchmarks on the very latest drivers.
