It was interesting to see the DDR5-7000 DIMMs not performing as well... Or at least these CMK48GX5M2B7000C40 DDR5-7000 CL40 DIMMs specifically.

For those working on HPC or technical computing workloads from their desktop and eyeing an Intel Arrow Lake processor for its higher physical core counts, the DDR5-8000 memory is working out quite well.

And the other important takeaway with the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z890 HERO motherboard is the new 0806 BIOS working out much better than prior releases.
