It didn't take any time at all to find that there have been many heavy hitting optimizations to come for B580 with the open-source Intel Compute Runtime this year.
In some cases the Arc A580 performance improved too, but in most of the cases there were much more pronounced benefits on the B580 latest-generation Battlemage GPU.
The Intel OpenCL performance with the Arc B580 -- and Battlemage at large -- on Linux is in much better shape now than at launch last year.
