When it came to AI / deep learning workloads able to make use of AVX-512, the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X -- and even the Ryzen 5 7600X in some of the benchmarks -- was able to outperform the Core i5 13600K.
Zen 4's efficient AVX-512 implementation also helped it lead in better power efficiency too.
For most AI workloads, the AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors are the stronger contender with AVX-512 over Raptor Lake.
ONNX was one of the exceptions where it is rather well optimized for Intel CPUs.
