The OpenCL kernel latency yielded a massive difference. This is similar to what was seen with the recent Intel Arc A-Series testing. When on the Xe driver the Intel Compute Runtime stack can benefit from the Ultra Low Latency Scheduling (ULLS) as a dramatic improvement to the OpenCL kernel latency compared to when on the i915 driver.
There were big improvements in other OpenCL workloads too.
