Intel Xeon 6780E / Xeon 6766E 144-Core Performance Benchmarks
In crypto workloads tested the Intel Xeon 6766E/6780E were performing very well and competing with the AMD EPYC Genoa(X) / Bergamo processors. When looking at the power efficiency is where these new Intel Xeon 6 processors pulled in front and was refreshing to see Intel competing once again in power efficiency.
The Intel Xeon 6766E/6780E were competing very well in power efficiency and typically leading. The AMD EPYC 8004 Siena processors with Zen 4C cores were often the closest competition. With Siena though you're limited to single socket servers and six channel memory, which isn't as ideal for those wanting to build more dense infrastructure with dual socket platforms.
wpa pskFor some workloads like John The Ripper with the WPA PSK crypto test, the E-core-only server processor was a regression compared to the existing Intel Xeon Scalable processors.
