Rarely did the at-launch performance numbers come out ahead of these newest benchmarks.

👁 Pennant benchmark with settings of Test: leblancbig. Xeon 6980P 2P - Sep 2025 was the fastest.

👁 Pennant benchmark with settings of Test: sedovbig. Xeon 6980P 2P - Sep 2025 was the fastest.

👁 Xcompact3d Incompact3d benchmark with settings of Input: input.i3d 193 Cells Per Direction. Xeon 6980P 2P - Sep 2025 was the fastest.

There were some nice performance improvements in some of the HPC benchmarks tested for this Intel Xeon 6980P 2P Linux testing.

👁 OpenFOAM benchmark with settings of Input: drivaerFastback, Small Mesh Size, Execution Time. Xeon 6980P 2P - Sep 2025 was the fastest.

👁 OpenFOAM benchmark with settings of Input: drivaerFastback, Medium Mesh Size, Execution Time. Xeon 6980P 2P - Sep 2025 was the fastest.

There were some execution time improvements with the OpenFOAM computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software compared to the original numbers shown last September.

👁 OpenRadioss benchmark with settings of Model: INIVOL and Fluid Structure Interaction Drop Container. Xeon 6980P 2P - Sep 2025 was the fastest.

👁 OpenRadioss benchmark with settings of Model: Chrysler Neon 1M. Xeon 6980P 2P - Sep 2025 was the fastest.

The OpenRadioss software also enjoyed some very nice gains with this new round of Intel Granite Rapids Linux benchmarking.
