Intel Core i3/i5/i7 Ubuntu Linux Performance Update

At least with the CPU tests right away we are seeing the Core i3 4130 and Core i7 4770K Haswell processors being more in line with expectations: they're faster than the Ivy Bridge CPUs.
We at least see now the Core i7 4770K is performing noticeably better than the Core i7 3770K for CPU tests, where as with the OpenGL graphics tests the older Ivy Bridge CPU was surprisingly faster on this latest Linux code. This at least narrows down the possible area of the performance regression and starts to rule out a CPU scheduler issue or other kernel areas since the CPU performance hasn't regressed for Haswell.
