Stay tuned for many more Linux benchmarks of Intel and AMD hardware in the coming days. Hopefully these updated reference results were of use to you if in the market for a new CPU or just curious how your own system's performance stacks up to the last three generations of Intel desktop processors. See our Linux processor reviews for more information besides just these reference benchmarks put out over the weekend from Ubuntu 14.04 with the Linux 3.13 kernel. The Intel Haswell performance with the latest Linux code that's causing a bit of a concern -- see the earlier article for more information -- will be investigated further during the week.
