The latest Speedometer 3.0 browser benchmark continues to show both AMD Zen 4 Ryzen 7 7840HS and 7840U SoCs outperforming the Core Ultra 7 155H within the Acer Swift Go 13.

The AMD Zen 4 laptops were also showing superior performance-per-Watt for Speedometer 3.0.

The Jetstream 2 browser benchmark was also favoring the AMD Zen 4 laptops over Meteor Lake.

Turning to more demanding workloads, the AMD Ryzen 7840 series continued performing well on Ubuntu 24.04 + Linux 6.10 and outperforming the Core Ultra 7 155H for code compilation tasks.

It will be fun to see how well the upcoming AMD Ryzen AI 300 series with Zen 5 perform for common code compilation workloads.
