Linux 6.16's New "X86_NATIVE_CPU" Option Enhances I/O & Some Graphics/Gaming Workloads
While in some of the synthetic workloads and kernel micro-benchmarks there were some measurable improvements out of the X86_NATIVE_CPU kernel, in most real-world workloads it didn't translate into much or any gains.
For the integrated RDNA 3.5 graphics, the X86_NATIVE_CPU kernel build did provide some small performance improvements in CPU-bound graphics/gaming workloads.
