The Pogocache caching solution was one of the real-world workloads exhibiting extremely nice gains out of each of the Linux kernel upgrades tested. Very meaningful performance improvements out of this AMD Zen 5 platform when upgrading to the newer Linux kernel versions. The Pogocache gains with Linux 7.1 were found to have occurred between 7.0 and 7.1 as shown in the other system benchmarks.

The cryptsetup program for measuring the system's cryptography performance was showing some awesome gains for many of the algorithms tested. There have been some very nice AVX-512 related crypto subsystem optimizations and other modern ISA tuning within the Linux kernel's crypto code in recent years.
