The context switching time is up notably under Linux 7.0 on this Intel Panther Lake laptop compared to Linux 6.19 stable.
With the Stress-NG micro-benchmarks there were a number of regressions observed while at least the message passing performance improved with Linux 7.0. The Futex performance was also significantly faster on Linux 7.0.
