Ubuntu 24.04 + Linux 6.9 Intel & AMD Server Performance

The EPYC 9684X as the flagship Genoa-X continues to show off very well in many of these benchmarks even for being nearly one year old while it will be exciting to see what next generation brings for both AMD and Intel.

👁 OSPRay benchmark with settings of Benchmark: gravity_spheres_volume/dim_512/pathtracer/real_time. EPYC 9754 2P was the fastest.

👁 OSPRay benchmark with settings of Benchmark: particle_volume/scivis/real_time. EPYC 9754 2P was the fastest.

👁 OSPRay Studio benchmark with settings of Camera: 1, Resolution: 4K, Samples Per Pixel: 16, Renderer: Path Tracer, Acceleration: CPU. EPYC 9754 2P was the fastest.

In some of the rendering workloads with the latest AMD/Intel CPUs I've typically found them performing better on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS in general than Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.
