With the DiRT Rally 2.0 racing game running under Linux via Valve's Steam Play, it was another case of less than half the performance of the official NVIDIA packaged Linux driver for these RTX 40 series graphics cards. Plus with DiRT Rally 2.0 there was some incorrect rendering to deal with too when going the NVK route.

GravityMark with Vulkan showed the RTX 4070S at 34% the speed of the packaged R575 NVIDIA Linux driver and the RTX 4080S was at 34%.

3DMark Wild Life Extreme that is native to Linux and using Vulkan also showed NVK still quite a ways behind the official NVIDIA Linux driver stack.

The Batman game running under Valve's Steam Play with NVK also showed both the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER and RTX 4080 SUPER graphics cards at a huge performance disadvantage on Nouveau+NVK compared to using the official NVIDIA Linux driver.
