Damn! With Unigine Heaven on Linux using OpenGL, the GeForce GTX 1080 is 23% faster than the GeForce GTX TITAN X or 32% faster than the GeForce GTX 980 Ti! To no surprise, the R9 Fury doesn't come close to touching the GTX 1080 as given the current state of the open-source RadeonSI Gallium3D driver, the R9 Fury only performs between a GTX 960 and GTX 970.
With the Unigine Valley benchmark, the GTX 1080 was about 15% faster than the fastest Maxwell cards.
