NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation & RTX 4000 Ada Generation Linux Performance
First up with Indigobench for some OpenCL rendering tests, the NVIDIA RTX A2000 Ada Generation saw its performance matching the Radeon Pro W7600 graphics card while the NVIDIA RTX 4000 Ada Generation saw its performance slightly ahead of the Radeon Pro W7700.
On a performance-per-Watt basis both of these NVIDIA RTX Ada Generation graphics cards outperformed the tested Radeon Pro W7000 series hardware.
With the current NVIDIA RTX 2000 / RTX 4000 Ada Generation pricing on Amazon, the performance-per-dollar with IndigoBench was aligned with the value of the AMD Radeon Pro W7500/W7600 graphics cards.
The outcome was similar across the other IndigoBench scene as well.
For the Blender 3D modeling software with these graphics cards, NVIDIA easily wins and outpaces the current level of AMD software support and performance. Obviously using the NVIDIA OptiX back-end with Blender yields the fastest results but even using the mature CUDA back-end still continues to have the NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation and NVIDIA RTX 4000 Ada Generation outpacing the AMD Radeon Pro W7000 series. NVIDIA continues to easily win for any Blender creators after the best GPU-accelerated performance.
