NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation & RTX 4000 Ada Generation Linux Performance
The SPECViewPerf results varied a bit depending upon the particular sub-test, but overall NVIDIA led in a majority of these tests. At the extremes, the half-height NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation graphics card could match the AMD Radeon Pro W7700 performance or in the MEDICAL-O3 scene even sharply outperforming all of the tested Radeon Pro hardware. AMD has continued optimizing their RadeonSI Gallium3D driver for SPECViewPerf and it's been panning out for some of the viewsets but overall this fresh look shows NVIDIA continuing to boast a number of advantages.
With ParaView for workstation data analysis and visualization software, there was healthy competition between the Radeon Pro W7000 series and the NVIDIA RTX 2000/4000 Ada Generation products.
