With the Java Bork file encryption package the performance was basically flat across the tested versions.

With DaCapo's H2 benchmark that is modeled as a JDBCbench-like in-memory benchmark is one of the areas the performance has improved nicely since OpenJDK 8. OpenJDK 14 had a narrow first place finish over the previous releases.

The Jython benchmark meanwhile based on Python's Pybench was one of many cases where OpenJDK 8 had the fastest result.

The Tradebeans test that is running a daytrader benchmark saw OpenJDK 14 picking up another narrow victory.
