Let's see how OpenMandriva Lx 4.2 RC1 stacks up out-of-the-box to Ubuntu 20.10 and Clear Linux...

Under various Vulkan compute workloads with Mesa's RADV driver, there wasn't much difference at all in the performance.

In the GPU demanding Unigine OpenGL benchmarks meanwhile wasn't much of a difference while for the lighter Xonotic first person shooter game there were some frame-rate boosts from running on the Znver1 version of OpenMandriva Lx 4.2 albeit not too important in the grand scheme considering the game was already running in the hundreds of frames per second. Intel's Clear Linux also remained faster than OpenMandriva Lx 4.2 and sometimes Ubuntu 20.10 was also ahead.

With the ParaView workstation visualization software there was some minor benefit to the Znver1 version of OpenMandriva over the generic x86-64 build but Clear Linux was still showing a sizable lead.
