Python 3.11 Performance Benchmarks Are Looking Fantastic
First up was the very simply PyBench Python benchmark... Even in this relatively simple benchmark and where Python 3.8 through 3.10 performed roughly the same, moving to Python 3.11 Beta showed a significant speed-up: Python 3.11 Beta took roughly 84% of the time of the prior release to complete this set of scripted tests.
Moving on to the common PyPerformance Python benchmarks, the Python 3.11 Beta speed-ups were looking fantastic!
The talked up performance gains with Python 3.11 indeed are looking very real and enticing.
