AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT Linux GPU Compute Performance
The clpeak benchmark reinforced the strong double precision FP64 performance of the Radeon RX 9060 XT relative to the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti but with the Intel Arc Graphics B-Series shooting ahead for the best value.
For OpenCL kernel latency the Intel Battlemage graphics cards do very well ever since the Ultra Low Latency Scheduling (ULLS) support made it into the Compute Runtime. Battlemage on their open-source Linux compute stack even has lower latency than the NVIDIA proprietary compute driver. But these numbers now show that AMD ROCm has a ways to go in making their kernel latency competitive.
The Darktable RAW photography software allows leveraging OpenCL for better performance.
With FinanceBench and its OpenCL written Monte Carlo test, the RX 9060 XT regressed to even behind a Radeon RX 7600. Hopefully a future ROCm update better refines the RDNA4 support.
