AMD Ryzen 3 2200G + Ryzen 5 2400G Linux CPU Performance, 21-Way Intel/AMD Comparison
For some crypto tasks is the always fun John The Ripper. Here the Ryzen 3 2200G is able to slightly outperform the Core i3 8100 while the Ryzen 5 2400G comes in measurably behind the Core i5 8400 and even the older FX-8350, given this test is highly threaded.
With the Nero2D TM/TE solver, the two Raven Ridge parts performed close to the same speed at just around the i3-8100 performance level.
The TTSIOD 3D renderer running on the CPU found the Ryzen 3 2200G running ahead of the Core i3 8100 but the Ryzen 5 2400G was still coming in well behind the Core i5 8400.
The Ryzen 5 2400G does better than the FX-8350 AMD CPU with x264 video encoding but still facing tough competition from Intel's current CPUs even when mitigated for Meltdown and Spectre.
